Service Agreement

Terms of Service

Important terms, customer responsibilities, and operational guidelines governing plumbing dispatch and on-site toilet repair services.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "User," or "You") and Toilet Repair Pros ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of https://toiletrepairplumbers.com and our telephone dispatch coordination services accessed via 877-297-0262.

By browsing our website, requesting a diagnostic appointment, or communicating with our telephone dispatchers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms in their entirety, you must discontinue use of our site and telephone services immediately.

2. Referral Network & Independent Contractor Relationship

Toilet Repair Pros operates as an independent plumbing referral and dispatch coordination network. Our primary function is to connect homeowners, commercial property managers, and facility supervisors with qualified, independent third-party plumbing contractors operating within their municipal jurisdiction.

Independent Contractor Status: The trade professionals and plumbing technicians dispatched to your property are independent contractors and not direct employees, partners, or legal agents of Toilet Repair Pros. Each dispatched contractor maintains their own regional trade licensing, commercial general liability insurance, tools, and pricing schedules. Toilet Repair Pros does not perform physical plumbing installations directly and disclaims liability for the physical acts, errors, or omissions of independent contractors.

3. Telephone Inquiries & Dispatch Communication

Placing an inbound call to 877-297-0262 allows our dispatch coordinators to record your reported plumbing symptoms, evaluate service urgency, and route your request to an available technician. You agree that calls may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, dispatcher training, and dispute verification. Calling our dispatch number authorizes us and our affiliated contractors to contact you via live telephone or SMS text message regarding your appointment status and arrival windows.

4. On-Site Diagnostics & Upfront Written Authorization

Before executing any mechanical repairs or component replacements, a visiting plumbing technician conducts an on-site physical diagnostic inspection of your toilet fixture, supply lines, shut-off valve, and closet flange. Following this assessment, the technician provides a clear, itemized quote detailing the required replacement parts and labor.

Mandatory Customer Authorization: No mechanical disassembly, augering, or fixture removal will commence until you have reviewed and approved the contractor's written or digital estimate. You retain the right to decline suggested repair work following the initial diagnostic inspection.

5. Customer Responsibilities & Site Access

To enable safe and sanitary plumbing repairs, the property owner or an authorized adult representative (aged 18 or older) must:

  • Be physically present during the scheduled diagnostic inspection and repair window.
  • Provide clear, well-lit, and unobstructed physical access to the affected bathroom fixtures, emergency water shut-off angle stops, and main water meter or supply valves.
  • Secure household pets and keep children away from the bathroom work perimeter and contractor equipment.
  • Disclose any known pre-existing plumbing hazards, structural subfloor decay, brittle pipes, or recent chemical drain opener applications prior to technician inspection.

6. Scope of Plumbing & Toilet Repair Services

Services coordinated through Toilet Repair Pros include, but are not limited to:

  • Clogged Toilet Clearing: Heavy-duty drop-head closet augering and motorized drain cabling to extract foreign objects and clear stubborn trapway blockages.
  • Running Toilet Repair: Replacement of deteriorated flappers, fill valve diaphragms, float rods, and flush valve seats to eliminate silent water waste.
  • Base Leak & Wax Ring Restoration: Pulling the porcelain fixture, inspecting closet collars, installing reinforced wax or rubber horn gaskets, and securing brass closet bolts.
  • Closet Flange Repair & Leveling: Rebuilding cracked or corroded cast iron, PVC, or ABS flanges with stainless steel repair brackets and shimming wobbly bowls.
  • New Fixture Installation: Removing outdated porcelain units and installing modern ADA-compliant, comfort-height, or high-efficiency low-flow gravity toilets.
  • Commercial Flushometer Service: Rebuilding Sloan and Zurn diaphragm assemblies, vacuum breakers, and handle mechanisms in high-traffic facilities.

7. Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation of Liability

Plumbing failures often stem from concealed or historical building conditions. Neither Toilet Repair Pros nor dispatched plumbing trade contractors shall be liable for:

  • Pre-existing subfloor rot, mildew, mold growth, or floor joist decay resulting from prolonged, undetected wax seal leaks that occurred prior to the service call.
  • Brittle, deteriorated, or heavily corroded cast iron or galvanized drain pipes that crack or collapse during standard mechanical snaking operations.
  • Porcelain hairline stress fractures or internal ceramic flaws existing prior to disassembly.
  • Damage caused by customer applications of caustic chemical drain cleaners prior to technician arrival.

Under no circumstances shall Toilet Repair Pros be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our referral network or on-site plumbing services.

8. Parts & Manufacturer Warranties

Replacement components—including vitreous china toilet bowls, ceramic tanks, commercial flushometer valves, silicone flappers, fill valves, and supply lines—carry warranties issued directly by their respective manufacturers (such as Kohler, TOTO, American Standard, Fluidmaster, Sloan, or Mansfield). Workmanship guarantees on labor are provided directly by the executing independent plumbing contractor in accordance with their written service invoice.

9. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Fees

If you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed plumbing appointment, please notify our dispatch team by calling 877-297-0262 at least two (2) hours prior to the scheduled arrival window. Payment for approved plumbing repairs and diagnostic fees is due directly to the performing contractor upon completion of service, payable via major credit cards, checks, or approved electronic payments.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable state where services are requested, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal claim or dispute arising out of these Terms or use of the website shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration or small claims court, waiving any right to participate in class actions.
